This painting inspired me when I traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Entering the water I had a sensation of bond between the waves and myself, I have a lot of respect for the ocean because each wave is unexpected and it brings peace, freedom and full of adrenaline. When I was young, I was in varsity swim team of my school, swimming is the only sport I love and I had the opportunity to swim professionally. The love for water has been with me forever. When I paint it transports me to the scenery on the canvas, my paintings transmit the freshness, the smell and the marine environment in its entirety.
